1 pound thick cut bacon
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons Fly By Jing Mala Spice Mix
Preheat air fryer to 400º. If your air fryer has a drip tray, ensure that it is in place in the bottom of the unit to catch the grease from the bacon.
In a medium bowl, mix the maple syrup, brown sugar, and Mala Spice Mix. Stir well to combine so that there are no lumps.
Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook your bacon in multiple batches. Lay the bacon strips in a single layer on the air fryer rack. Using a basting brush, baste on side with the syrup mixture. Flip and baste the other side.
Place the tray of bacon in the air fryer and cook for 8-10 minutes. Thicker slices will require longer to get crispy. Flip bacon strips halfway through cooking.
