Homemade pumpkin spice syrup is simple, convenient, and I promise better than the stuff at Starbie's. Use it in coffee beverages, drizzled over pancakes or waffles, mixed into hot chocolate or in a cocktail!
Ingredients

¾ cup water

¾ cup brown sugar

¼ cup pumpkin puree (plain, unsweetened)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon ground ginger

½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

¼ teaspoon cloves

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Make simple syrup: bring the water to a boil. Add the sugar, turn off heat, and stir until dissolved.
Stir in the pumpkin puree, spices and vanilla extract. Cool completely. Store in a clip top bottle for in the fridge for up to 3 weeks for maximum freshness
