Turkey Meatballs in Hearty Mushroom Gravy
Turkey meatballs are a simple and hearty alternative to cooking a whole turkey for Thanksgiving, and can be enjoyed any time of year without much fuss.
Baking the meatballs in the oven and then finishing them under the broiler produces crispy outsides with far less hands-on effort than pan frying. Our hearty mushroom gravy gets its depth from the addition of dry sherry and miso paste. Use a mixture of wild and farmed mushrooms if available.
