This indulgent spread is made according to a recipe that dates back from 1885 and from chestnuts harvested in Ardèche, a region in France whose chestnuts are so famous that their regional authenticity is protected by the AOC. It's delicious with yogurt, pudding, cake, and ice cream or straight from the can.
