Copper, Gold and Stainless have an updated design to improve grip, and are safe at any oven temperature.

The Signature black phenolic knob is larger for a better grip, with increased heat resistance up to 500°F.

Before any of our ceramics, pottery, porcelain or enameled cast iron reach you they have passed both manufacturer and our own quality control checks. We look for thin spots in glaze, excessive pin holing, chips, crazing, sharp spots, scratches, etc. There are some imperfections that are unavoidable - such as marks where a piece was held while glazing, or individual pinholes due to microscopic dust in the firing chambers. None of these imperfections affect the function of the piece and are not considered flaws for purposes of returns
