N/UM Benguela Sea Salt Flakes

Sourced from the pristine coastal region of Velddrif, South Africa, this salt is not sourced from the ocean itself, but from an underground lake, filled by the Benguela current. This gourmet salt has a mineral taste and a roundness of flavor. 

Our alternative to the Maldon Sea Flakes, this salt has an incredible crunch and is perfect for dishes such as lightly seasoned grilled meats. It can also contribute both texture and a strident spiciness to vegetable dishes such as a salad made of roasted peppers, avocados, cucumber and a few tufts of leafy greens.
