While the infrared thermometer's trigger is depressed, you can also scan looking for MAX/MIN temperatures as you move the temperature laser gun across a larger target. IR-GUN-S is a useful thermometer to help find hot or cold spots in walls, insulation, heated objects or larger areas. Other features include an averaging function and a differential mode.
